This deliciously pure pasture raised heritage pork fat is great for cooking to add flavour to any dish or rendering into lard for baking, soap making and lotion making, etc. Pastured pork fat is filled with high levels of vitamin D and other minerals. Additionally, lard in general has a high smoke point (meaning it does not oxidize at high temperatures) – making it a great alternative to many cooking oils. Leaf fat is best for pie making!
